“The Three Redneck Tenors” will kick off the Covington Arts Council’s 38th season on Thurs., Oct. 21, at 7 p.m., at the LBWCC Dixon Center.

‘The Three Redneck Tenors' will take the stage on Thurs., Oct. 21.

CAC Director Paula Harr said this will be the group’s third local performance.

“We thought this was a fantastic way to kickoff our season, because people ask for us to bring these guys back year-after-year,” Harr said. “They are a delight to watch, and their performance is outstanding.”

This year’s “Tenors” follows the trio as their put the odd in Broadway for a roof-raising goodtime.

“The boys have finally made it to the Great White Way – trailer and all – smack dab in the middle of Times Square,” Harr said. “This time, they are performing Broadway hits from classics such as ‘Phantom of the Opera,’ ‘The Sound of Music’ and ‘A Chorus Line.’
“It’s going to be fantastic,” she said.

Next on the performance list is the “Lily Cai Chinese Dance Company.”

“Words cannot describe how beautiful of a performance this is,” Harr said. “We are so lucky, thanks to a grant from the Southern Arts Federation, that we can bring this show to our audience. Truly, it is one you don’t want to miss.”

Rounding out the season is “The Music Man” and “Bus Stop.”

General admission season tickets are $50 each; $25 for students. Family packages, which consist of two general admission tickets and two student tickets, are $125 for the season.

Tickets are available at Ansley Place or Brooks True Value Hardware and will be available at the door of the night performance for $15 each.
