Program Coordinator - Athletics

 

 

The City of Andalusia is accepting applications for the Program Coordinator/Athletics position in the Leisure Services Department. Under the administrative direction of the Leisure Services Director, the employee performs program supervisory work in managing and coordinating all athletic programs for the Parks and Recreation Department. Responsible for organizing and supervising athletic programs City-wide. Work is reviewed by observation and periodic consultation with the Director. Work involves a high degree of public contact.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of training and/or experience equivalent to:

  • Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent, including or supplemented by college-level courses. A college degree is preferred.
  • Progressive experience in athletics including some supervisory and organization experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the Alabama Department of Public Safety.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours or more than forty (40) hours per week as needed.

 

SALARY RANGE: Based on Experience
