Landfill/Recycling Center Worker
The City of Andalusia is accepting applications for a Landfill and Recycling Center Worker position in the Public Works Department. Under the general direction of the Recycling Operations Coordinator, the employee sorts and processes recyclables at the center, drives an assigned truck on pick-up routes, and sanitizes and maintains department equipment, vehicles and buildings.
QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of training and/or experience equivalent to:
- Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
- Ability to work non-standard hours.
- Possess a valid driver's license issued by the Alabama Department of Public Safety.
- May be required to possess a valid "Classs B" commercial driver's license.
ANNUAL ENTRY SALARY RANGE: Based on experience.
